Ladybug (Poem)

"Ladybug"
by Tim Kavi

my little
red ladybug
in my gentle palm
you are free
to fly

to the nearest flower
may you take flight
free as a bird
in all of its might

this passion's song
in midnight sigh
is always the
sweetest
song when you
draw nigh

so
you can glide
to the safest resting place
for wherever you go
I watch over you

and when I see
you transfigured
into the
goddess
you truly are

I know you are never too far

oh gently ladybug
you are free
with me
to be

all that you
ever wanted to be
and to go to
all the gardens
you always wanted to see

so fly
fly in our love
there is no
prison for
you in my gentle
hand

but only
a kind appreciation
of you
in all that Nature
has clothed
You with

and a rest
in seeing yourself
as you are

for the very first time.
